The name ‘Aral’ is composed of the initial letters of the two main compounds of the first super fuel: AR (aromates) and AL (aliphates). The name is written in full capitals in the Aral logo only. Everywhere else the logo and all text body are written in upper and lower case.
Worded combinations using Aral, e.g. Aral Petrol Station, are not hyphenated and should form a sensible link with the name Aral: Aral Employees, Aral Fuel, etc. Less logical combinations with the name are best paraphrased, such as Wellness Set by Aral; PetitBistro by Aral. This makes it easier for customers to associate typical Aral products and services with the name.
The standard design should always show the three-dimensional Aral logo in colour set against the Aral blue gradient. In principle, this always also includes the white contour around the logo even if it cannot be seen when set against a white background. Any depictions of the Aral logo other than those shown here are not permitted.

The three-dimensional depiction of the Aral logo calls for a high visual quality which is not a given for every production process. In such cases and as an alternative, the two-dimensional visual form can be applied.
This is necessary, for instance, if the size of the Aral diamond falls below the minimum dimension of the version for micro applications or if a production process, e.g. printing on fabric or PVC, is not suited to reproduce a three-dimensional effect.
